Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi has been added to the upcoming NHL All-Star roster, replacing Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon.

This will be Josi’s fourth All-Star appearance after being named to the 2016, 2019, and 2020 teams.

The Preds captain is a Norris Trophy favorite this season, scoring 43 points with 13 goals and 30 assists in just 43 games played. He was originally left out of the All-Star team after failing to get enough fan votes.

Josi is currently fourth in points and second in goals among all defensemen. He leads the Preds in points and time on the ice per game.

Las Vegas is set to host the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, Feb. 4-5. The All-Stars will showcase their talents in the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills on Friday, Feb. 4 before facing off in the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, Feb. 5.
