New Date Set For TransPerfect Music City Bowl
The TransPerfect Music City Bowl has announced that it will be played on Dec. 30 at 2:00 p.m. CST inside Nissan Stadium.
“Our excitement for the 2021 TransPerfect Music City Bowl is off the charts,” says President and CEO of TransPerfect Phil Shawe. “Not only for the game itself but also for the associated in-person events we hope to host in Nashville. The Music City Bowl staff has our sincere appreciation for overcoming the adversity of last year and setting the stage for a successful return in December.”
The 2020 Music City Bowl, which was scheduled to take place between the University of Missouri and the University of Iowa, was cancelled after an increase in positive COVID-19 tests among its student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
“We’re excited to have a kickoff date and time for this year’s game,” says Scott Ramsey, president & CEO of the TransPerfect Music City Bowl. “After last year’s unexpected cancellation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we look forward to Nashville’s holiday tradition returning to Nissan Stadium. We’re thankful for the support of our new title sponsors, TransPerfect, ESPN, Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium officials along with the Metro Nashville Government.”
Tickets and additional game information will be released at a later date. For more information, visit MusicCityBowl.com.
