Tennessee Titans Launch First NFL Team Wine Club

The Tennessee Titans have launched The Foolish Club, the first-ever wine club subscription by an NFL team. The wine subscription service will feature the team and the state of Tennessee in a series of premium wines under the brand name Rough & Dressed Napa Valley and developed in partnership with Fairwinds Estate Winery.

“The Foolish Club is such an integral part of our team’s history, and with the launch of this wine club, it’s now a part of our present,” says Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk. “We hope our fans will love these wines and each of the stories they tell, and can’t thank Fairwinds Estate Winery enough for helping us bring this concept to life.”

The Foolish Club’s name was originally given to the eight team owners of the American Football League co-started by Titans’ founder Bud Adams. The subscription service will feature two 6-bottle shipments of wine per year with the option to add additional wines based on club seniority. Club members will also gain access to a private member store to replenish their cellars and send special wooden box gift sets to family and friends. Each bottle will tell the story of an aspect of the team or honor a unique quality of Tennessee culture. A portion of sales generated from the memberships will benefit The Titans Foundation and its work in supporting local non‐profits, schools, and community centers.

“I am excited to create these special wines for The Foolish Club,” says Brandon Chaney, Proprietor and CEO of Fairwinds Estate Winery. “The Rough & Dressed Napa Valley wines will celebrate the great history of the Titans, Nashville and the Volunteer State. Tennessee is truly a special place, and its people and creative energy are captivating.”

The first season of wine shipments will be available in September, with the second scheduled for February. The first three wines available will include Rough & Dressed, a Napa Valley red Bordeaux blend; Amy’s Promise, an elegant and approachable Napa Valley Chardonnay; and Victory, a Napa Valley sparkling brut made in the traditional champagne method.

Membership is available now and those who enroll early will establish seniority and have opportunities to purchase limited production wines and attend future private events in Nashville and Fairwinds Estate Winery in Napa Valley.
